Hey, Paige, I really appreciated your honesty in this video! Technology does tend to take priority in our lives much too often, I think... I know it does in mine... This seems like it affected you quite deeply, do you think it will cause you to change your behavior while volunteering in the future?
I really enjoyed the post! I think that you're talking about a modern day issue that is so unbelievably present, yet so quickly overlooked. Everyone has experience with those "hang on" moments, some probably on a daily basis. I really enjoy the blunt way in which you talked about this issue. I would just like to know what kind of implications you think this type of behavior has on a wider, and more societal spectrum. It clearly impacts the connection between workers and patrons, but do you think it is commonly accepted as just something that happens, or does it really damage the behavior and connection of people holistically?
